Actual launch and pick-up times depend who wants to go where\, when and will be finalized and confirmed closer to the actual date. \nWhere: Multiple put-in and take-out location options.  PFBC Launches: Mifflintown\, Mifflin\, Muskrat Springs\, Thompsontown\, Greenwood; plus Buttonwood Campground.  Pricing & Information \nWho: Adults and children; Dogs\, one per shuttle   Minimum of 4 people per day/shuttle.**  Maximum of 12-14.  \nHow: Reservations are required. Kayak to the beautiful and historic Penn’s Tavern Restaurant and enjoy a cold drink and delicious food! \nWhere:  Penn’s Tavern Restaurant\, 113 River Rd\, Route 147 Sunbury\, PA 17801 \nWhen:  Second Saturday of each month\, June through October \nThere will be two runs each day\, 9:00am and 1:30pm. \nWe will meet at Penn’s Tavern at 8:45 or 1:15. Please park at the south end of the lot.  If you are just getting shuttle service\, I will help you load your boat on my trailer. We will drive up-river to Shady Nook and you will float back down. It is 4.5 miles.  Rental includes boat\, paddle\, life vest and orientation. \nRegistration is required. DESCRIPTION:Age: Children age 8 & older \nTime: 8:30-3:30 \nCost per child: $285       ($10 Sibling discount!  $10 Early registration discount before 4/30/23) \nLocation: Fort Halifax Park \nDescription:  Campers will learn basic kayak skills and water safety and get to try both single and tandem kayaks on calm\, nearby waterways. We will also learn a little about local history\, wildlife and ecology.  Activities will be chosen based on both weather and campers’ interests and may include fishing\, crafts\, games and swimming. Kayaks\, paddles and life vests will be provided. Campers should wear water shoes or old sneakers and bring a change of clothing\, sunscreen\, a hat\, a refillable water bottle and a lunch.
