DESCRIPTION:Hourly rental at a reduced rate!  We will be at Fort Halifax Park from 3:30 until 6:30.  Come whenever it suits you and take a boat out from site for an hour or two.  No reservation necessary!  Single kayak: $20/hour.  Tandem Kayak: $30/hour.  Last boat goes out at 5:30.  *Shuttle to MYO park may be available.  Please call 24 hours ahead to request shuttle service. \nRegarding weather and conditions:  If its a light drizzle\, no problem.  If there’s thunder\, lightening or the river is too high or fast we will not be open\, but we’ll be happy to accommodate you a different day.

We will use material from the book Lead Now\, The Ultimate Guide for Student Leaders by Jack Canfield\, co-author of Chicken Soup for the Soul.  Campers will gain valuable strategies\, advice and ideas. The majority of each day will be spent putting these skills to use in various games\, community service projects and activities\, which may include kayaking if that is what the group chooses.
