Appalachian Kayak One-day Camp

Transportation available for groups of 8 or more from one local workplace: Do you and your coworkers have children who would enjoy kayaking?  Bring them to work with you and we will meet you there at the start of your work day, take the children for a day of outdoor fun and bring them back when your work day is over!  Many dates available.  

Age: 8 and up (not more than four 8-year-olds per group)

Maximum enrollment: 12/day       Time: To be determined, usually 9:00 – 3:00

MEDICAL FORM Appalachian Kayak Camp

Description: Registration includes kayak, paddle and life vest. Campers will learn basic kayak skills and water safety on calm, nearby waterways. Additional activities will be chosen based on both weather and campers’ interests and may include fishing, crafts, games and swimming. Kayaks, paddles and life vests will be provided. Campers should wear water shoes or old sneakers and bring a change of clothing, sunscreen, a hat, a refillable water bottle and a lunch. (For Penn’s Tavern location, price is $75 and lunch is included.) Our main objective is to have FUN while staying safe!
