Join Appalachian Kayak at the lovely and historic Penn’s Tavern along the Susquehanna River in Northumberland County! Rent kayaks for an hour and go out from site or choose to be shuttled upstream and float back. Afterward, enjoy some great food on the deck or terrace!

Rental Without Shuttle 

• Available throughout the day
• $25 for 1 hour rental of a single kayak
• $40 for a 1 hour rental of a tandem
• Paddle out and back from the shore at Penn’s Tavern
• Reservations are suggested, but not required.

Rental With Shuttle 

• Shuttles depart at 9:00 and 12:30
• Shady Nook to Penn’s Tavern; 4.5 miles; $55/single  $75/tandem
• $20-$25 for shuttle of your own kayak
• Reservations are required.
