This 6 mile float on the Conodoguinet Creek starts at Acri Meadow Park and ends at West Fairview Park.
“Conodoguinet” comes from an Indian word meaning “a long way with many bends.” As a Class 1 stream, the Conodoguinet is characterized by easy moving water with a few riffles and small waves, suitable for a beginner.
Acri Meadow Park is a 4-acre municipal park. Amenities include a playground, picnic tables and pavilions, bird watching, horseshoe pits and a drinking fountain. West Fairview Point Park is the confluence of the Conodoguinet Creek and the Susquehanna River and is known by the locals as “The Point.”
