Consider Appalachian Kayak’s Door to Shore Service

This is a wonderfully relaxed, hassle-free option.  With Door to Shore Service you don’t need to worry about loading, tying down and transporting your kayaks on your car.  You decide where and when you want to go and if you want to use your kayaks or ours or a combination.  

How does it work?

1. Call (717) 805-8980 to check availability, to discuss destination options and make a reservation. A credit card is required to hold your reservation.  Payment may be made over the phone, online or in person the day of your trip.

2. Appalachian Kayak will pick you up at your home or at a mutually agreed upon location and transport you and your family to the water destination of your choice.

   • • We will bring the number of single or tandem kayaks requested

     • Or, we will load your personal kayaks onto our trailer

     • Or, you may choose a combination of rentals and personals

3. Paddles and life vests are included with rental.

4. You are welcome to bring a small cooler and even the family dog.

5. We will unload everything, provide brief instruction and get you started.

6. When you arrive at the designated take-out spot, we will load up again, and take you back to your vehicle or home.
